DSG Archiecture Stages

DSG Architecture splits the process into two stages. Stage 1 includes all aspects related to planning permission, Stage 2 includes all aspects relating to Building Control Design and Technical Drawings.

Do I Need Both Stage 1 & Stage 2 Designs?

In most cases, you will need to complete and gain council approval for both Stage 1 (planning approval) and Stage 2 (building regulations approval) drawings in order to commence with your construction phase.

What Is Stage 1 Design?

Stage 2 Design focuses around Building Regulations Approval.​

Technical drawings get into the detail of the design. The aim of these drawings are to show the council that it has been designed to current building regulations and provide the builder all the information he requires.

What's Included In Stage 1 Designs?

1) Measured survey of your property.

2) Existing Drawing

3) Concept Designs and Options

4) Planning Drawings

5) Planning Submission

6) Planning Management

7) Amendments (if changes are requested by Planning Department)
